The Autumn/Winter Season is upon us, and we have filled up the store in ØSTERBRO with the new collection from your favorite brands - NN07, Drykorn, Blue De Genes to name a few.
This season however, is also blowing a fresh breeze of brands. We proudly present and welcome 3 new brands from all over the world:
from London, England:
Hudson shoes was born in 1990, and have been putting the best foot forward for more than two decades with high quality, affordable shoes. Acknowledging trends and giving them an idiosyncratic twist is the cornerstone philosophy. Whether it's music, art, style icons or film, there is always inspiration to be found.
Never a brand to rest on its (perfectly formed) heels, H men's marched onto the scene in 2004. In eight years the line has gone from strength to strength with the range offering an eclectic product mix from sharp formals to contemporary casuals. From men's formal shoes and brogues to the more casual chukka boot alongside the added androgyny brought through by the ladies range, all produced in beautifully crafted leathers, H shoes has become a hub for footwear fashionistas far and wide.
Each shoe has been influenced by a far flung corner of the world, taking in many different finishes and techniques along the way including hand-finished features. Across all collections, from men's leather shoes, boots and deck shoes to ladies suede ankle boots and brogues, the aim is to fuse desirability with durability.
Each shoe utilises the same pioneering ethos with leathers being washed or dip-dyed for a vintage feel, creating a range of understated classics.
Our signature play on androgynous looks continues to experiment with new treatments to quality leathers, whilst also retaining brand stalwarts across all ranges from formals like Ellington brogues or the Angus brogue boot for men.
from Amsterdam, Holland:
PIG & HEN makes well crafted bracelets and their story goes all the way back to the Sailors of the 1600's. To protect themselves against bad luck the men had a tattoo of a pig and a hen on their feet. It was believed it gave the sailors the ability to survive when they had to abandon ship. The sailors felt they would be able to find land, just like the Pig and Hen who were kept in wooden crates and thus floated, and would let the tide bring them home.
The bracelets are handmade in Amsterdam, using authentic ship rope. They are meant to survive a lifetime, are stronger than steel and will age like your wrinkled face.
Pig & Hen is a fairly new name and MUD is the first store in Denmark to carry the brand.
from Kobe, Japan:
Onitsuka Tiger is established in 1949 by mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka.
The story of Onitsuka Tiger started from a humble idea that sport had the power to transform lives. Anima Sana In Corpore Sano - sound mind, sound body. The Latin maxim that was the ethos behind Onitsuka Tiger, and later became the acronym ASICS.
In the beginning, Onitsuka Tiger set out to help the youth of Japan and rebuild a better future after the War ended in 1949. They believed playing sport was the best way to unite people and connect communities. Sixty years on, this same philosophy remains.
Between 1986 and 1991, japan flourished becoming the 2ndmost powerful economy in the world. In 1986, ASICS introduced alpha gel in its high performance sports models. This technological advancement became an instant classic. It was the perfect embodiment of the saying “it’s big in japan”.
ASICS made Onitsuka Tiger the lifestyle expression of their performance brand, bringing the unique combination of japanese sports technology and global street style to the modern day sneaker lover.
